Step/DistanceUpdated a month ago
Your Sekonda Smart Watch tracks steps by detecting the natural motion of your arm as you walk. If your arm remains still—for example, while pushing a pram, holding shopping, or walking a dog—some steps may not be recorded accurately.
The distance calculation is based on your step count and your estimated stride length, which is influenced by your height. For the most accurate tracking:
Ensure your height, weight, and gender are correctly entered in the Sekonda Hybrid app
Be aware that stride length may vary slightly depending on walking speed and terrain
Updating your personal data helps the watch calculate more precise step and distance metrics tailored to your movement.
