Our Guarantee Policy
At Sekonda, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our watches. Each watch is made to a high standard and comes with a two-year guarantee against manufacturing faults. This guarantee operates alongside your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
If your watch develops a fault and it has been within 28 days of purchase from our website, please initiate a return through our Returns Portal. Include a note inside your parcel confirming whether you would like a refund or replacement. Once we have received your watch at our warehouse, your request will be processed within 7–10 working days. Customers who purchased directly from sekonda.com are entitled to a refund or a replacement. However, if your item was purchased from one of our official retail partners such as Argos, H. Samuel, F. Hinds or an independent jeweller you will need to return the item to the place of purchase as your contract of sale is with them. We are unable to assist with refunds or replacements for items purchased elsewhere. Please note that the terms and conditions of our official retail partners may differ from our own. We recommend reviewing their individual policies directly on their official websites before making a return or exchange.
If your watch develops a fault after 28 days but within 6 months, please complete our Guarantee Claim Process. Our team will review your claim and respond within 2–3 working days to confirm whether it has been approved or rejected. If approved, you will be entitled to a refund or a replacement, this will depend on your preference and product availability.
For claims made after 6 months, the same process applies. However, you will only be entitled to a refund, unless you can provide evidence that the issue existed at the point of purchase. This will be handled at our own discretion after processing your guarantee claim submission.
The guarantee covers manufacturing faults only. It does not cover: batteries, straps and bracelets. accidental damage, misuse, or general wear and tear or water penetration except in watches marked as “Water Resistant”. Proof of purchase must be provided for all claims. Any watches returned outside of the terms outlined above or without prior approval may be declined and returned to the sender.

If a watch has been opened, serviced or repaired by anyone other than Sekonda or an authorised service partner, the guarantee will no longer apply.
Sekonda reserves the right to inspect all returned watches to determine whether the reported issue falls within guarantee coverage. If a claim is accepted, the repair will be carried out free of charge or a replacement of equal value will be issued if the original model is no longer available. If a repair or replacement is not possible, a refund may be offered at our discretion.
Customers are responsible for safely packaging and returning their watch. We recommend using a tracked postal service, as Sekonda cannot be held liable for parcels lost or damaged in transit. Sekonda shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or incidental damages arising from product failure, except where required by law. This guarantee is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Sekonda reserves the right to update or amend this policy at any time; any such changes will not affect existing valid claims.
