My ring won't charge. What should I do?Updated a month ago

Overview

  • This article covers steps to try if your ring isn't charging properly.

Detailed Explanation

  • Place the ring inside the charging case, aligning it with the charging contacts. It should stay in place magnetically.
  • Connect the USB charging cable to the case, then to a working power source (e.g. wall adapter or powered USB port).
  • Check the case's indicator light, next to the USB port. No light at all when you connect the ring usually means the case itself is dead and needs charging on its own first.
  • Once the case has some charge, reconnect the ring and check for a red charging light on the ring itself.
  • If your ring is fully discharged, brand new, or was switched off, it must go through this charging process to power back on.

Precautions

  • The charging case is not water resistant. Make sure the ring and case are both completely dry before charging.
  • Charge in an environment between 0°C and 45°C, and avoid charging via a car or other vehicle.
  • Use a power adaptor rated at 5V / 1A. An uncertified or incompatible adapter may cause slow or failed charging.
  • If your ring still isn't charging after trying the steps above, please contact our customer service team for further support.
