Removing a device from the appUpdated a month ago

Overview

  • This article explains how to disconnect and remove your smart ring from the app.

Detailed Explanation

  • In the app, go to Settings → Disconnect Device.
  • Confirm you want to remove the device.
  • Note: It's recommended you do this while the app is still connected to the ring. This allows the ring to update its internal status properly. If you remove a device while it's not connected, it may become unable to reconnect with your phone or other phones, and in some cases may need to be fully reset.

Important: iPhone Bluetooth Settings

  • Due to iOS design, your iPhone and the ring have a separate, dedicated Bluetooth connection alongside the app connection.
  • After removing the device in the app, you must also manually remove this connection through your iPhone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Otherwise, your ring may continue to receive notifications from your iPhone and won't be able to pair with other phones.

Precautions

  • Always remove the device from the app while it's still connected, where possible, to avoid pairing issues later.
  • If you plan to pair the ring with a different phone, complete both the in-app removal and the iPhone Bluetooth removal first.
