Why is my smart watch not connecting to the Sekonda Smart app?Updated an hour ago

If you’re having trouble connecting your Sekonda Smart Watch to the Sekonda Smart app, please check the following:

  • Check smartphone compatibility
Ensure your device meets the required operating system for your watch model:
    • Active Go: Android 7.1+ / iOS 12.0+
  • Enable Bluetooth
Make sure your smartphone’s Bluetooth is turned on, and don’t turn it off in your phone’s settings while using your watch.
  • Update the Sekonda Smart app
Verify that you have the latest version of the Sekonda Smart app installed from the App Store or Google Play.
  • Always pair through the app
Do not pair your watch directly via your phone’s Bluetooth settings. Always pair it through the app.
  • Select the correct watch
Your watch has a unique Bluetooth name beginning with “Sekonda”. To find it, swipe down from the home screen, tap the cog, then go to System → System Version. Select the matching name in the app’s list of devices.
  • Check power saving mode
Power saving mode disconnects Bluetooth. If it’s switched on, turn it off (swipe down from the home screen, tap the cog, then tap “Battery”).
  • Pairing tip
If you’re still unable to connect, try placing your smart watch directly on your phone’s screen during the pairing process. This can help establish a faster and stronger Bluetooth connection.

If the issue continues, we recommend restarting both devices and attempting the connection again. For further help, please contact our customer service team.
