Overview

• This article explains how to pair your smart ring with the app for the first time.

Detailed Explanation

• Download the app. Search for "Sekonda Smart Ring" in your phone's app store, or scan the QR code provided with your ring.
• Make sure your smart ring is charged by placing it in the charging case for 2 hours. 
• Make sure your ring is near your phone during setup.
• Make sure your ring is not currently paired or connected to another phone. In some cases, you may need to fully reset the ring and retry (for example if you have purchased a new phone)
• Open your phone's Settings app and make sure Bluetooth is switched on.
• In the Smart Ring app, go to Settings → Add New Device.
• Look for "SekondaSR" in the list of Bluetooth names. Select this to connect to your smart ring.
• Follow the prompts on your phone to complete pairing and connection.

Precautions

• A ring can only be actively connected to one phone at a time. Disconnect it from any previous device before pairing with a new one.
• Keep the ring within Bluetooth range of your phone throughout setup, and ensure it has sufficient charge to avoid pairing failures.
